Baab Taharat Ke Masail

وَقَدْ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَبُولُ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ . حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، وَحَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ضَعِيفٌ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ضَعَّفَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ وَغَيْرُهُ مِنْ قِبَلِ حِفْظِهِ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن لہیعہ نے یہ حدیث ابوالزبیر سے اور ابوالزبیر نے جابر رضی الله عنہ سے کہ   ابوقتادہ رضی الله عنہ نے نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم کو قبلہ کی طرف منہ کر کے پیشاب کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے۔ جابر رضی الله عنہ کی نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم سے یہ حدیث ابن لہیعہ کی حدیث ( جس میں جابر کے بعد ابوقتادہ رضی الله عنہ کا واسطہ ہے ) سے زیادہ صحیح ہے، ابن لہیعہ محدّثین کے نزدیک ضعیف ہیں، یحییٰ بن سعیدالقطان وغیرہ نے ان کی حفظ کے اعتبار سے تضعیف کی ہے۔

English Translation

Abu Qatadah narrated that : he saw the Prophet urinating while facing the Qiblah. Qutaibah narrated that to us, he said: Ibn Lahi'ah informed us. Jabir's Hadlth about the Prophet is more correct than the Hadith of Ibn Lahi'ah. Ibn Lahi'ah is weak according to the scholars of Hadith. He was graded weak by Yahya bin Sa'eed Al-Qattan, and others, [due to his memorization].
