حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ مُسْلِمًا عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ مُسْلِمَةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ أَسْلَمَتْ مَعِي فَرُدَّهَا عَلَيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ فَرَدَّهَا عَلَيْهِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏سَمِعْت عَبْدَ بْنَ حُمَيْدٍ، يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ يَزِيدَ بْنَ هَارُونَ يَذْكُرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَدِيثُ الْحَجَّاجِ، عنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عنْ أَبِيهِ، عنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ رَدَّ ابْنَتَهُ زَيْنَبَ عَلَى أَبِي الْعَاصِي بِمَهْرٍ جَدِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَنِكَاحٍ جَدِيدٍ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَجْوَدُ إِسْنَادًا وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى حَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   ایک شخص نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں مسلمان ہو کر آیا پھر اس کی بیوی بھی مسلمان ہو کر آ گئی تو اس نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! اس نے میرے ساتھ اسلام قبول کیا تھا۔ تو آپ اسے مجھے واپس دے دیجئیے۔ تو آپ نے اسے اسی کو واپس دے دیا ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث صحیح ہے، ۲- حجاج نے یہ حدیث بطریق «عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه عن جده» روایت کی ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی بیٹی زینب کو ابوالعاص کے ہاں نئے مہر اور نئے نکاح کے ذریعے لوٹایا، ۳- یزید بن ہارون کہتے ہیں کہ ابن عباس کی حدیث سند کے اعتبار سے سب سے اچھی ہے لیکن عمل «عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه عن جده» کی حدیث پر ہے۔

English Translation

Ibn Abbas narrated: A man became a Muslim during the time of the Prophet, then his wife became a Muslim, so he said: 'O Messenger of Allah! She accepted Islam along with me, so return her to me.' So he returned her to him.
