حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ لَيْثًا يُحَدِّثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنِّي اشْتَرَيْتُ خَمْرًا لِأَيْتَامٍ فِي حِجْرِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَهْرِقْ الْخَمْرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاكْسِرِ الدِّنَانَ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَسٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ رَوَى الثَّوْرِيُّ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ.

Urdu Translation

ابوطلحہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   انہوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے نبی! میں نے ان یتیموں کے لیے شراب خریدی تھی جو میری پرورش میں ہیں۔ ( اس کا کیا حکم ہے؟ ) آپ نے فرمایا: ”شراب بہا دو اور مٹکے توڑ دو“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابوطلحہ رضی الله عنہ کی اس حدیث کو ثوری نے بطریق: «السدي، عن يحيى بن عباد، عن أنس» روایت کیا ہے کہ ابوطلحہ آپ کے پاس تھے ۱؎، اور یہ لیث کی روایت سے زیادہ صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں جابر، عائشہ، ابوسعید، ابن مسعود، ابن عمر، اور انس رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas: From Abu Talhah that he said: O Prophet of Allah! I had purchased some wine for the orphans under my care. He said: 'Spill out the wine, and break the jugs.' [He said:] There are narrations on this topic from Jabir, 'Aishah, Abu Sa'eed, Ibn Mas'ud, Ibn 'Umar, and Anas. [Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith of Abu Talhah, Ath-Thawri reported this Hadith from As-Suddi, from Yahya bin 'Abbad, from Anas: That Abu Talhah was with him and this is more correct than the narration of Al-laith (no. 1293).
