حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ أَحْيَى أَرْضًا مَيِّتَةً فَهِيَ لَهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو شخص غیر آباد زمین ( جو کسی کی ملکیت میں نہ ہو ) آباد کرے تو وہ اسی کی ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever revives a barren land, then it is for him.
