حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْمُطَّلِبِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ،‏‏‏‏ وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ،‏‏‏‏ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَجَابِرٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رَخَّصَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يُقَاتِلَ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ وَمَالِهِ،‏‏‏‏ وقَالَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ:‏‏‏‏ يُقَاتِلُ عَنْ مَالِهِ وَلَوْ دِرْهَمَيْنِ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو اپنے مال کی حفاظت کرتے ہوئے مارا جائے وہ شہید ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی الله عنہما کی حدیث حسن ہے، یہ دوسری سندوں سے بھی ان سے مروی ہے ۲- بعض اہل علم نے آدمی کو اپنی جان و مال کی حفاظت کے لیے دفاع کی اجازت دی ہے، ۳- اس باب میں علی، سعید بن زید، ابوہریرہ، ابن عمر، ابن عباس اور جابر رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۴- عبداللہ بن مبارک کہتے ہیں: آدمی اپنے مال کی حفاظت کے لیے دفاع کرے خواہ اس کا مال دو درہم ہی کیوں نہ ہو ۱؎۔

English Translation

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever is killed over his wealth, then he is martyr.
