حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ فِي حُجْرَتِهَا وَلَمْ يَظْهَرِ الْفَيْءُ مِنْ حُجْرَتِهَا قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَنَسٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبِي أَرْوَى،‏‏‏‏ وَجَابِرٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَرَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَيُرْوَى عَنْ رَافِعٍ أَيْضًا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي تَأْخِيرِ الْعَصْرِ وَلَا يَصِحُّ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ عَائِشَةَ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ الَّذِي اخْتَارَهُ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مِنْهُمْ عُمَرُ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَائِشَةُ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَنَسٌ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ التَّابِعِينَ:‏‏‏‏ تَعْجِيلَ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ وَكَرِهُوا تَأْخِيرَهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبِهِ يَقُولُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ،‏‏‏‏ وَالشَّافِعِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَحْمَدُ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْحَاق.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم نے عصر پڑھی اس حال میں کہ دھوپ ان کے کمرے میں تھی، ان کے کمرے کے اندر کا سایہ پورب والی دیوار پر نہیں چڑھا تھا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں انس، ابوارویٰ، جابر اور رافع بن خدیج رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ( اور رافع رضی الله عنہ سے عصر کو مؤخر کرنے کی بھی روایت کی جاتی ہے جسے انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم سے روایت کیا ہے۔ لیکن یہ صحیح نہیں ہے، ۳- صحابہ کرام میں سے بعض اہل علم نے جن میں عمر، عبداللہ بن مسعود، عائشہ اور انس رضی الله عنہم بھی شامل ہیں اور تابعین میں سے کئی لوگوں نے اسی کو اختیار کیا ہے کہ عصر جلدی پڑھی جائے اور اس میں تاخیر کرنے کو ان لوگوں نے مکروہ سمجھا ہے اسی کے قائل عبداللہ بن مبارک، شافعی، احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ بھی ہیں۔

English Translation

Urwah narrated from Aishah: Allah's Messenger prayed Asr while the sun was (shining) in her chamber, (and) no shadow appeared in her chamber.
