حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ وَإِنَّ الْفِئَتَيْنِ لَمُوَلِّيَتَانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِائَةُ رَجُلٍ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   غزوہ حنین کے دن ہماری صورت حالت یہ تھی کہ مسلمانوں کی دونوں جماعت پیٹھ پھیرے ہوئی تھی، اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ سو آدمی بھی نہیں تھے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ۲- اسے ہم عبیداللہ کی روایت سے صرف اسی سند سے جانتے ہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Indeed we saw the day of Hunain, and indeed the two armies fled from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and there did not remain one hundred men with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Gharib as a narration of 'Ubaidullah. We do not know of it except from this route.
