حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَلَا كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَالْأَمِيرُ الَّذِي عَلَى النَّاسِ رَاعٍ وَمَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالرَّجُلُ رَاعٍ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْهُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْمَرْأَةُ رَاعِيَةٌ عَلَى بَيْتِ بَعْلِهَا وَهِيَ مَسْئُولَةٌ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَبْدُ رَاعٍ عَلَى مَالِ سَيِّدِهِ وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَلَا فَكُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَدِيثُ أَبِي مُوسَى غَيْرُ مَحْفُوظٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ غَيْرُ مَحْفُوظٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ عُمَرَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَكَاهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِي بِذَلِكَ مُحَمَّدٌ بِنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ بَشَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَرَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ بُرَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلًا وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ:‏‏‏‏ وَرَوَى إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَائِلٌ كُلَّ رَاعٍ عَمَّا اسْتَرْعَاهُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْت مُحَمَّدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا غَيْرُ مَحْفُوظٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنَّمَا الصَّحِيحُ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلًا.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم میں سے ہر آدمی نگہبان ہے اور اپنی رعیت کے بارے میں جواب دہ ہے، چنانچہ لوگوں کا امیر ان کا نگہبان ہے اور وہ اپنی رعایا کے بارے میں جواب دہ ہے، اسی طرح مرد اپنے گھر والوں کا نگہبان ہے اور ان کے بارے میں جواب دہ ہے، عورت اپنے شوہر کے گھر کی نگہبان ہے اور اس کے بارے میں جواب دہ ہے، غلام اپنے مالک کے مال کا نگہبان ہے اور اس کے بارے میں جواب دہ ہے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابن عمر رضی الله عنہما کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوہریرہ، انس اور ابوموسیٰ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- ابوموسیٰ کی حدیث غیر محفوظ ہے، اور انس کی حدیث بھی غیر محفوظ ہے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: اسے ابراہیم بن بشار رمادی نے بسند «سفيان بن عيينة عن بريد بن عبد الله بن أبي بردة عن أبي بردة عن أبي موسى عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» روایت کیا ہے، اس حدیث کو کئی لوگوں نے بسند «سفيان عن بريد عن أبي بردة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» مرسل طریقہ سے روایت کی ہے، مگر یہ مرسل روایت زیادہ صحیح ہے۔ محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کہتے ہیں: اسحاق بن ابراہیم نے بسند «معاذ بن هشام عن أبيه عن قتادة عن أنس عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» روایت کی ہے: بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ ہر نگہبان سے پوچھے گا اس چیز کے بارے میں جس کی نگہبانی کے لیے اس کو رکھا ہے، امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: میں نے محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کو کہتے سنا: یہ روایت غیر محفوظ ہے، صحیح وہی ہے جو «عن معاذ بن هشام عن أبيه عن قتادة عن الحسن عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» کی سند سے مرسل طریقہ سے آئی ہے۔

English Translation

Ibrahim bin Bash-shar Ar-Ramadi reported it from Sufyan bin 'Uyainah, from Buraid bin 'Abdullah bin Abu Burdah, from Abu Burdah, from Abu Musa, from the Prophet (ﷺ). Muhammad informed me of that, from Ibrahim bin Bash-Shar [Ar-Ramadi]. Muhammad said: More than one has reported it from Sufyan, from Buraid bin Abu Burdah [from Abu Burdah] from the Prophet (ﷺ) in Mursal form. This is more correct. Muhammad said: Ishaq bin Ibrahim reported from Mu'adh bin Hisham, from his father, from Qatadah, from Anas, from the Prophet (ﷺ) who said: 'Indeed Allah will question everyone who is responsible about his charge.' I heard Muhammad saying: This is not preserved. It is only correct from Mu'adh bin Hisham from his father, from Qatadah, from Al-Hasan, from the Prophet (ﷺ), in Mursal form.
