حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْبَرَكَةُ تَنْزِلُ وَسَطَ الطَّعَامِ فَكُلُوا مِنْ حَافَتَيْهِ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسَطِهِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ إِنَّمَا يُعْرَفُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالثَّوْرِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ وَفِي الْبَاب، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”برکت کھانے کے بیچ میں نازل ہوتی ہے، اس لیے تم لوگ اس کے کناروں سے کھاؤ، بیچ سے مت کھاؤ“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اور صرف عطاء بن سائب کی روایت سے معروف ہے، اسے شعبہ اور ثوری نے بھی عطاء بن سائب سے روایت کیا ہے، ۳- اس باب میں ابن عمر سے بھی روایت ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: That the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Indeed the blessing descends to the middle of the food, so eat from its edges, and do not eat from its middle. [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. It is only known through the narration of 'Ata' bin As-Sa'ib. Shu'bah and Ath-Thawri reported from 'Ata' bin As-Sa'ib. There is something about this topic from Ibn 'Umar.
