Baab Mashroobat Se Mutaliq Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَاقِي الْقَوْمِ آخِرُهُمْ شُرْبًا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

ابوقتادہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”پلانے والے کو سب سے آخر میں پینا چاہیئے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابن ابی اوفی سے بھی روایت ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Qatadah: That the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The one providing water for people is the last of them to drink. He said: There is something on this topic from Ibn Abi Awfa. [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
