Abu Hurairah narrated that: the Messenger of Allah said: The religion is An-Nasihah three times. They said: O Messenger of Allah! For Whom? He said : To Allah , His books, the A'immah of the Muslims, and their average people.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ الدِّينُ النَّصِيحَةُ ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لِمَنْ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لِلَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلِكِتَابِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلِأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَامَّتِهِمْ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَرِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَكِيمِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَثَوْبَانَ.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تین مرتبہ فرمایا: ”دین سراپا خیر خواہی ہے“، لوگوں نے پوچھا: اللہ کے رسول! کس کے لیے؟ فرمایا: ”اللہ کے لیے، اس کی کتاب کے لیے، مسلمانوں کے ائمہ ( حکمرانوں ) اور عام مسلمانوں کے لیے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابن عمر، تمیم داری، جریر، «حكيم بن أبي يزيد عن أبيه» اور ثوبان رضی الله عنہم سے احادیث آئی ہیں۔
