Baab Khaane Ke Mutaliq Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْمُسْتَبَّانِ مَا قَالَا فَعَلَى الْبَادِي مِنْهُمَا مَا لَمْ يَعْتَدِ الْمَظْلُومُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”گالی گلوچ کرنے والے دو آدمیوں میں سے گالی کا گناہ ان میں سے شروع کرنے والے پر ہو گا، جب تک مظلوم حد سے آگے نہ بڑھ جائے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں سعد، ابن مسعود اور عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی الله عنہم سے بھی حدیثیں مروی ہیں۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: (The burden of) what is said by the two who vilify each other is upon the one who initiated it, as long as the one who was wronged does not transgress.
