Baab Khaane Ke Mutaliq Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مَمْلَكٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا شَيْءٌ أَثْقَلُ فِي مِيزَانِ الْمُؤْمِنِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ خُلُقٍ حَسَنٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُبْغِضُ الْفَاحِشَ الْبَذِيءَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأُسَامَةَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

ابو الدرداء رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”قیامت کے دن مومن کے میزان میں اخلاق حسنہ سے بھاری کوئی چیز نہیں ہو گی اور اللہ تعالیٰ بےحیاء، بدزبان سے نفرت کرتا ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عائشہ، ابوہریرہ، انس اور اسامہ بن شریک رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Abu Ad-Dardh narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: Nothing is heavier on the believer's Scale on the Day of Judgment than good character. For indeed Allah, Most High, is angered by the shameless obscene person.
