Baab Elaaj Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْحُمَّى فَوْرٌ مِنَ النَّارِ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَامْرَأَةِ الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ.

Urdu Translation

رافع بن خدیج رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”بخار جہنم کی گرمی سے ہوتا ہے، لہٰذا اسے پانی سے ٹھنڈا کرو“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: اس باب میں اسماء بنت ابوبکر، ابن عمر، زبیر کی بیوی، ام المؤمنین عائشہ اور ابن عباس رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں ( عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کی روایت آگے آ رہی ہے ) ۔

English Translation

Rafi' bin Khadij narrated that the Prophet (S.A.W) said: Fever is from the agitation of the Fire, so cool it with water.
