حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَادَ رَجُلًا مِنْ وَعَكٍ كَانَ بِهِ، فَقَالَ: أَبْشِرْ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ: هِيَ نَارِي أُسَلِّطُهَا عَلَى عَبْدِي الْمُذْنِبِ لِتَكُونَ حَظَّهُ مِنَ النَّارِ .
ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک آدمی کی عیادت کی جسے تپ دق کا مرض تھا، آپ نے فرمایا: ”خوش ہو جاؤ اس لیے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کہتا ہے: یہ میری آگ ہے جسے میں اپنے گنہگار بندے پر مسلط کرتا ہوں تاکہ یہ جہنم کی آگ میں سے اس کا حصہ بن جائے“ ۱؎۔
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet(S.A.W) visited a man who was ill, so he said: Cheer up, for indeed Allah said: 'It is My Fire which I impose upon My sinning slave as his portion of the Fire. (Hasan) Al-Hasan said: They would hope that the fever that occurred at night would atone for any deficiency caused by sins.
