حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ هَيَّاجٍ الْأَسَدِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَرْحَبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنِ الْمُسْتَوْرِدِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ الْفِهْرِيِّ، رَوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ بُعِثْتُ فِي نَفَسِ السَّاعَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَسَبَقْتُهَا كَمَا سَبَقَتْ هَذِهِ هَذِهِ لِأُصْبُعَيْهِ السَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْمُسْتَوْرِدِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.

Urdu Translation

مستورد بن شداد فہری رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میں قیامت کے زمانہ ہی میں بھیجا گیا پھر میں اس پر سبقت لے گیا جیسے یہ انگلی اس انگلی پر سبقت لے گئی، اور آپ نے اپنی شہادت اور بیچ کی انگلی کی طرف اشارہ کیا“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث مستورد بن شداد کی روایت سے غریب ہے، ہم اسے صرف اسی سند سے جانتے ہیں۔

English Translation

Al-Mustawrid bin Shaddad Al-Fihri reported that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: I was sent in advance of the Hour, so that I precede it like this precedes this. (Indicating) with his index and middle fingers.
