Baab Fitno Aur Jungon Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يُحَدِّثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ عُبَادَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

عبادہ بن صامت رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو شخص اللہ تعالیٰ سے ملنا چاہے گا تو اللہ تعالیٰ بھی اس سے ملنا چاہے گا، اور جو اللہ تعالیٰ سے ملنا ناپسند کرے تو اللہ تعالیٰ بھی اس سے ملنا ناپسند کرے گا“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- عبادہ کی حدیث صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوہریرہ، ام المؤمنین عائشہ، انس اور ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Ubadah bin As-Samit narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him. Whoever is averse to meeting Allah, Allah is averse to meeting him.
