Baab Fitno Aur Jungon Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ الْمُسْتَوْرِدِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنْتُ مَعَ الرَّكْبِ الَّذِينَ وَقَفُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى السَّخْلَةِ الْمَيِّتَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَرَوْنَ هَذِهِ هَانَتْ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا حِينَ أَلْقَوْهَا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ مِنْ هَوَانِهَا أَلْقَوْهَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَالدُّنْيَا أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ الْمُسْتَوْرِدِ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ.

Urdu Translation

مستورد بن شداد رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں بھی ان سواروں کے ساتھ تھا جو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایک بکری کے مرے ہوئے بچے کے پاس کھڑے تھے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کیا تم لوگ اسے دیکھ رہے ہو کہ جب یہ اس کے مالکوں کے نزدیک حقیر اور بے قیمت ہو گیا“ تو انہوں نے اسے پھینک دیا، صحابہ نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! اس کی بے قیمت ہونے کی بنیاد ہی پر لوگوں نے اسے پھینک دیا ہے، آپ نے فرمایا: ”دنیا اللہ تعالیٰ کے نزدیک اس سے بھی زیادہ حقیر اور بے وقعت ہے جتنا یہ اپنے لوگوں کے نزدیک حقیر اور بے وقعت ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- مستورد رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن ہے، ۲- اس باب میں جابر اور ابن عمر رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Al-Mustawrid bin Shaddad said: I was with the caravan of those who stopped with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) at a dead lamb. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'Do you think that this was insignificant to its owners when they threw it away?' They said:'Yes! It is because of its insignificance that they threw it away O Messenger of Allah!' He said: 'The world is more insignificant to Allah than this to its owners.'
