Baab Fitno Aur Jungon Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، قَال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ يُحَدِّثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ مَا شَبِعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ خُبْزِ شَعِيرٍ يَوْمَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ حَتَّى قُبِضَ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وفي الباب عن أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دو روز متواتر جو کی روٹی کبھی سیر ہو کر نہیں کھائی یہاں تک کہ آپ وفات پا گئے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے بھی روایت ہے۔

English Translation

Aishah narrated: The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) did not eat his fill of barley bread on two consecutive days until he was taken (died).
