حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْغِفَارِيُّ الْمَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ نَشَرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ كَنَفَهُ وَأَدْخَلَهُ جَنَّتَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏رِفْقٌ بِالضَّعِيفِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَشَفَقَةٌ عَلَى الْوَالِدَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِحْسَانٌ إِلَى الْمَمْلُوكِ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ هُوَ أَخُو مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ.

Urdu Translation

جابر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تین خصلتیں ایسی ہیں کہ یہ جس کے اندر پائی جائیں تو قیامت کے روز اللہ اپنی رحمت کے سایہ تلے رکھے گا، اور اسے اپنی جنت میں داخل کرے گا۔ ( ۱ ) ضعیفوں کے ساتھ نرم برتاؤ کرے ( ۲ ) ماں باپ کے ساتھ شفقت و محبت کا برتاؤ کرے، ( ۳ ) لونڈیوں اور غلاموں پر احسان کرے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے۔

English Translation

Abu Bakr bin Al-Munkadir narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: There are three (characteristics) for which whomever has them,Allah will expose His side,and admit him to Paradise:Being courteous to the guest,kind to parents,and doing good for slaves.
