حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ حَرْبِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ يَعِيشَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، أَنَّ مَوْلَى الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ بْنَ الْعَوَّامِ حَدَّثَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ دَبَّ إِلَيْكُمْ دَاءُ الْأُمَمِ قَبْلَكُمُ الْحَسَدُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْبَغْضَاءُ هِيَ الْحَالِقَةُ لَا أَقُولُ تَحْلِقُ الشَّعَرَ وَلَكِنْ تَحْلِقُ الدِّينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَا تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا تُؤْمِنُوا حَتَّى تَحَابُّوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَفَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا يُثَبِّتُ ذَاكُمْ لَكُمْ ؟ أَفْشُوا السَّلَامَ بَيْنَكُمْ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ قَدِ اخْتَلَفُوا فِي رِوَايَتِهِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَرَوَى بَعْضُهُمْ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ يَعِيشَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ مَوْلَى الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَمْ يَذْكُرُوا فِيهِ عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ.

Urdu Translation

زبیر بن عوام رضی الله عنہ کا بیان ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تمہارے اندر اگلی امتوں کا ایک مرض گھس آیا ہے اور یہ حسد اور بغض کی بیماری ہے، یہ مونڈنے والی ہے، میں یہ نہیں کہتا کہ سر کا بال مونڈنے والی ہے بلکہ دین مونڈنے والی ہے، قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے! تم لوگ جنت میں نہیں داخل ہو گے جب تک کہ ایمان نہ لے آؤ، اور مومن نہیں ہو سکتے یہاں تک کہ آپس میں محبت نہ کرنے لگو، اور کیا میں تمہیں ایسی بات نہ بتا دوں جس سے تمہارے درمیان محبت قائم ہو: تم سلام کو آپس میں پھیلاؤ“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یحییٰ بن ابی کثیر سے اس حدیث کے روایت کرنے میں اہل علم کا اختلاف ہے، بعض لوگوں نے یہ حدیث: «عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن يعيش بن الوليد عن مولى الزبير عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» کی سند سے روایت کی ہے ان لوگوں نے اس میں زبیر کے واسطہ کا ذکر نہیں کیا۔

English Translation

Az-Zubair bin Al-'Awwam narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said: The disease of the nations before you is creeping towards you: Envy and hatred, it is the Haliqah. I do not speak of what cuts the hair, but what severs the religion. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! You will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love each other. Shall I tell you about what will strengthen that for you? Spread the Salam among each other.
