Baab Ehem Muarkon Ka Bayan Ju Ummat May Hone Walay Hain

حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَوْ أَنَّ مَا يُقِلُّ ظُفُرٌ مِمَّا فِي الْجَنَّةِ بَدَا لَتَزَخْرَفَتْ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَ خَوَافِقِ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ اطَّلَعَ فَبَدَا أَسَاوِرُهُ لَطَمَسَ ضَوْءَ الشَّمْسِ كَمَا تَطْمِسُ الشَّمْسُ ضَوْءَ النُّجُومِ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَى يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

Urdu Translation

سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اگر ناخن کے برابر جنت کی کوئی چیز ظاہر ہو جائے تو وہ آسمان و زمین کے کناروں کو چمکا دے، اور اگر جنت کا کوئی آدمی جھانکے اور اس کے کنگن ظاہر ہو جائیں تو وہ سورج کی روشنی کو ایسے ہی مٹا دیں، جیسے سورج ستاروں کی روشنی کو مٹا دیتا ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ہم اسے اس سند سے صرف ابن لہیعہ کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں ۱؎۔ ۲- یحییٰ بن ایوب نے یہ حدیث یزید بن ابی حبیب سے روایت کی ہے اور سند یوں بیان کی ہے: «عن عمر بن سعد بن أبي وقاص عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» ۔

English Translation

Dawud bin Amir bin Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas narrated from his father, from his grandfather that the Prophet (s.a.w) said: If as little as what can be placed on a fingernail of what is in Paradise were to become apparent, it would have beautified all the far corners of the heavens and the earth. And if a man among the people of Paradise were to appear and his bracelets were to become apparent, it would have blotted out the light of the sun, as the sun blots out the light of the stars.
