Baab Ehem Muarkon Ka Bayan Ju Ummat May Hone Walay Hain

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ:‏‏‏‏ فَهُمْ فِي رَوْضَةٍ يُحْبَرُونَ سورة الروم آية 15، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ السَّمَّاعُ:‏‏‏‏ وَمَعْنَى السَّمَّاعِ:‏‏‏‏ مثل ما ورد في الحديث أَنَّ الْحُورَ الْعِينَ يُرَفِّعْنَ بِأَصْوَاتِهِنَّ .

Urdu Translation

  یحییٰ بن ابی کثیر آیت کریمہ: «فهم في روضة يحبرون» ”وہ جنت میں خوش کر دیئے جائیں گے“ کے بارے میں کہتے ہیں: اس سے مراد سماع ہے اور سماع کا مفہوم وہی ہے جو حدیث میں آیا ہے کہ حورعین اپنے نغمے کی آواز بلند کریں گی۔

English Translation

[ From Yahya bin Abi Kathir, concerning His (Allah's), the Mighty and Glorious, statement: Then they shall be in gardens living luxuriously He said: Listening. And the meaning of listening is similar to what has been mentioned in the Hadith that Al-Hur Al-'Ein raise their voices].
