Baab Hudood Aur Tazeerat Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيِّ، قَال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ اطَّلَعْتُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا الْفُقَرَاءَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاطَّلَعْتُ فِي النَّارِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا النِّسَاءَ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میں نے جنت میں جھانکا تو دیکھا کہ اکثر جنتی فقیر ہیں اور جہنم میں جھانکا تو دیکھا کہ اکثر جہنمی عورتیں ہیں“۔

English Translation

Ibn 'Abbas narrated that the Messenger Of Allah (s.a.w) said: I looked into Paradise and I saw that the most of its people were the poor; and I looked into the Fire and I saw that most of its people were women.
