Baab Diyaton Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا قَالُوهَا مَنَعُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ،‏‏‏‏ وفي الباب عن جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ عُمَرَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے جنگ ( جہاد ) کروں یہاں تک کہ وہ «لا إله إلا الله» کا اقرار کر لیں، پھر جب وہ اس کا اقرار کر لیں تو اب انہوں نے اپنے خون اور اپنے اموال کو مجھ سے محفوظ کر لیا، مگر کسی حق کے بدلے ۱؎، اور ان کا ( مکمل ) حساب تو اللہ تعالیٰ پر ہے“ ۲؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں جابر، ابوسعید اور ابن عمر رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Hurairah: narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I have been ordered to fight the people until they say La Ilaha Illallah , and if they say that, then their blood and wealth will be protected from me, except what it makes obligatory upon them, and their reckoning is up to Allah.
