Narrated Anas bin Malik: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: There are three things for which whomever has them, then he has tasted the sweetness of faith: The one for whom Allah and His Messenger are more beloved than anything else; whoever loves someone and he does not love him except for the sake of Allah, and whoever hates to return to disbelief after Allah has saved him from it, just as he hates to be thrown into fire.

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ وَجَدَ بِهِنَّ طَعْمَ الْإِيمَانِ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ كَانَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا سِوَاهُمَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنْ يُحِبَّ الْمَرْءَ لَا يُحِبُّهُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنْ يَكْرَهَ أَنْ يَعُودَ فِي الْكُفْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ أَنْقَذَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ كَمَا يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُقْذَفَ فِي النَّارِ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

انس بن مالک رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس میں تین خصلتیں ہوں گی اسے ان کے ذریعہ ایمان کی حلاوت مل کر رہے گی۔ ( ۱ ) جس کے نزدیک اللہ اور اس کا رسول سب سے زیادہ محبوب ہوں۔ ( ۲ ) وہ جس کسی سے بھی محبت کرے تو صرف اللہ کی رضا کے لیے کرے، ( ۳ ) کفر سے اللہ کی طرف سے ملنے والی نجات کے بعد کفر کی طرف لوٹنا اس طرح ناپسند کرے جس طرح آگ میں گرنا ناپسند کرتا ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- قتادہ نے بھی یہ حدیث انس کے واسطے سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی ہے۔
