Baab Sunnaton Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا مِنْ نَفْسٍ تُقْتَلُ ظُلْمًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ كِفْلٌ مِنْ دَمِهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَذَلِكَ لِأَنَّهُ أَوَّلُ مَنْ أَسَنَّ الْقَتْلَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ:‏‏‏‏ سَنَّ الْقَتْلَ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ظلم سے جو بھی خون ہوتا ہے اس خون کے گناہ کا ایک حصہ آدم کے ( پہلے ) بیٹے پر جاتا ہے، کیونکہ اسی نے سب سے پہلے خون کرنے کی سبیل نکالی“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: No soul is wrongfully taken except that some of the burden of its blood is upon the son of Adam, because he was the first to institute murder.
