حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَقْرَمِ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي بِالْقَاعِ مِنْ نَمِرَةَ فَمَرَّتْ رَكَبَةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَكُنْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى عُفْرَتَيْ إِبْطَيْهِ إِذَا سَجَدَ وأَريْ بَيَاضِهِ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَحْمَرَ بْنِ جَزْءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَيْمُونَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي حُمَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي أُسَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَدِيِّ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَائِشَةَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَأَحْمَرُ بْنُ جَزْءٍ هَذَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَهُ حَدِيثٌ وَاحِدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَقْرَمَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ دَاوُدَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا نَعْرِفُ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَقْرَمَ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَيْرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَيْهِ عِنْدَ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَال:‏‏‏‏ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ الزُّهْرِيُّ صَاحِبُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ كَاتِبُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن اقرم خزاعی رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں مقام نمرہ کے «قاع» ”مسطح زمین“ میں اپنے والد کے ساتھ تھا، تو ( وہاں سے ) ایک قافلہ گزرا، کیا دیکھتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے نماز پڑھ رہے ہیں، میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے دونوں بغلوں کی سفیدی دیکھ رہا تھا جب آپ سجدہ کرتے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- عبداللہ بن اقرم رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن ہے، اسے ہم صرف داود بن قیس کی سند سے جانتے ہیں۔ عبداللہ بن اقرم خزاعی کی اس کے علاوہ کوئی اور حدیث جسے انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی ہو ہم نہیں جانتے، ۲- صحابہ کرام میں سے اکثر اہل علم کا عمل اسی پر ہے۔ اور عبداللہ بن ارقم زہری نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے اصحاب میں سے ہیں اور وہ ابوبکر صدیق کے منشی تھے، ۳- اس باب میں ابن عباس، ابن بحینہ، جابر، احمر بن جزئ، میمونہ، ابوحمید، ابومسعود، ابواسید، سہل بن سعد، محمد بن مسلمہ، براء بن عازب، عدی بن عمیرہ اور عائشہ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۴- احمر بن جزء نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے اصحاب میں سے ایک آدمی ہیں اور ان کی صرف ایک حدیث ہے۔

English Translation

Ubaidallah bin Abdullah bin Arqam Al-Khuza'I narrated from his father (Abdullah bin Arqam), who said: I was with my father at the plains of Namirah. I passed by a mount and saw Allah's Messenger standing in Salat. He said: I was looking at the earthiness of his armpits when he prostrated. [That is]: Whiteness.
