حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاق بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، أَنَّ رَافِعَ بْنَ إِسْحَاق أَخْبَرَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أبِي طَلْحَةَ عَلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ نَعُودُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ:‏‏‏‏ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا تَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ أَوْ صُورَةٌ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏شَكَّ إِسْحَاق لَا يَدْرِي أَيُّهُمَا قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

ابو سعید خدری رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں خبر دی ہے: ”فرشتے اس گھر میں داخل نہیں ہوتے جس میں مجسمے ہوں یا تصویر ہو“، ( اس حدیث میں اسحاق راوی کو شک ہو گیا کہ ان کے استاد نے «تماثیل» اور «صورة» دونوں میں سے کیا کہا؟ انہیں یاد نہیں ) ۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Ishaq bin 'Abdullah bin Abi Talhah: that Rafi' bin Ishaq informed him, saying: I and 'Abdullah bin Abi Talhah entered upon Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri to visit him. So Abu Sa'eed said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) informed us: The angels do not enter a house in which there is an image or a picture.
