حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ التَّزَعْفُرِ لِلرِّجَالِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

انس بن مالک رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( مردوں کو ) زعفرانی رنگ کے استعمال سے منع فرمایا ہے، مردوں کے لیے زعفران کے استعمال کی کراہت کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ مرد زعفران کی خوشبو نہ لگائیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas bin Malik: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited saffron for men.
