حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: إِذَا سَافَرْتُمْ فِي الْخِصْبِ فَأَعْطُوا الْإِبِلَ حَظَّهَا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ، وَإِذَا سَافَرْتُمْ فِي السَّنَةِ، فَبَادِرُوا بِنِقْيَهَا، وَإِذَا عَرَّسْتُمْ فَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّرِيقَ، فَإِنَّهَا طُرُقُ الدَّوَابِّ وَمَأْوَى الْهَوَامِّ بِاللَّيْلِ ، قَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، وَفِي الْبَابِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، وَأَنَسٍ.
ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب تم ہریالی اور شادابی کے زمانہ میں سفر کرو تو اونٹ کو زمین سے اس کا حق دو ( یعنی جی بھر کر چر لینے دیا کرو ) اور جب تم خزاں و خشکی اور قحط کے دنوں میں سفر کرو اس کی قوت سے فائدہ اٹھا لینے میں کرو تو جلدی ۱؎ اور جب تم رات میں قیام کے لیے پڑاؤ ڈالو تو عام راستے سے ہٹ کر قیام کرو، کیونکہ یہ ( راستے ) رات میں چوپایوں کے راستے اور کیڑوں مکوڑوں کے ٹھکانے ہیں“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں جابر اور انس رضی الله عنہما سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
Narrated Abu Hurairah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When you travel through fertile land, then give the camels their fill of the land, and when you travel through drought, then hasten while they are fresh, and when you camp late, then stay away from the road, for indeed it is the route of the beasts and the abode of poisonous vermin in the night.
