حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ غُشِينَا وَنَحْنُ فِي مَصَافِّنَا يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ فِيمَنْ غَشِيَهُ النُّعَاسُ يَوْمَئِذٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَجَعَلَ سَيْفِي يَسْقُطُ مِنْ يَدِي وَآخُذُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيَسْقُطُ مِنْ يَدِي وَآخُذُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالطَّائِفَةُ الْأُخْرَى الْمُنَاقِدُونَ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ هَمٌّ إِلَّا أَنْفُسُهُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَجْبَنُ قَوْمٍ وَأَرْعَبُهُ وَأَخْذَلُهُ لِلْحَقِّ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ابوطلحہ رضی الله عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ ہم جنگ احد میں اپنی صف ( پوزیشن ) میں تھے اور ہم پر غنودگی طاری ہو گئی۔ وہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ وہ ان لوگوں میں سے تھے جنہیں اس دن غنودگی ( نیند ) نے آ گھیرا تھا، حالت یہ ہو گئی تھی کہ تلوار میرے ہاتھ سے چھوٹی جا رہی تھی، میں اسے پکڑ رہا تھا اور میرے ہاتھ سے گری جا رہی تھی، میں اسے سنبھال رہا تھا۔ دوسرا گروہ منافقوں کا تھا جنہیں صرف اپنی جانوں کی حفاظت کی فکر تھی، وہ لوگوں میں سب سے زیادہ بزدل، سب سے زیادہ مرعوب ہو جانے والے ( ڈرپوک ) اور حق کا سب سے زیادہ ساتھ چھوڑنے والے تھے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas: that Abu Talhah said: We were overcome, and we were in our positions on the Day of Uhud, and he narrated that he was among those who were overcome with slumber on that day. He said: My sword kept falling from my hand and I would pick it up and it would fall from my hand and I would pick it up (again). The other party was that of the hypocrites, they had no concern but themselves, the most cowardly of people, the most frightened, fleeing from the truth.
