حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ:‏‏‏‏ وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْتُونَ مَا آتَوْا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ وَجِلَةٌ سورة المؤمنون آية 60، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ:‏‏‏‏ أَهُمُ الَّذِينَ يَشْرَبُونَ الْخَمْرَ وَيَسْرِقُونَ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يَا بِنْتَ الصِّدِّيقِ وَلَكِنَّهُمُ الَّذِينَ يَصُومُونَ وَيُصَلُّونَ وَيَتَصَدَّقُونَ وَهُمْ يَخَافُونَ أَنْ لَا يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَهُمْ لَهَا سَابِقُونَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ هَذَا.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس آیت «والذين يؤتون ما آتوا وقلوبهم وجلة» ”جو لوگ اللہ کے لیے دیتے ہیں، جو دیتے ہیں اور ان کے دل خوف کھا رہے ہوتے ہیں ( کہ قبول ہو گا یا نہیں ) “ ( المؤمنون: ۶۰ ) ، کا مطلب پوچھا: کیا یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو شراب پیتے ہیں، اور چوری کرتے ہیں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”نہیں، صدیق کی صاحبزادی! بلکہ یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو روزے رکھتے ہیں، نمازیں پڑھتے ہیں، صدقے دیتے ہیں، اس کے باوجود ڈرتے رہتے ہیں کہ کہیں ان کی یہ نیکیاں قبول نہ ہوں، یہی ہیں وہ لوگ جو خیرات ( بھلے کاموں ) میں ایک دوسرے سے آگے نکل جانے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں، اور یہی لوگ بھلائیوں میں سبقت لے جانے والے لوگ ہیں“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: عبدالرحمٰن بن سعید نے بھی اس حدیث کو ابوحازم سے، ابوحازم نے ابوہریرہ سے اور ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اسی طرح روایت کی ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin [Sa'eed bin] Wahb - that is Al-Hamdani: that 'Aishah the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) said: I asked about the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about this Ayah: And those who give that which they give with their hearts full of fear... (23:60) 'Aishah said: Are they those who drink Khamr and steal? He said: No, O daughter of As-Siddiq. They are those who fast, perform Salat, give charity while they fear that their Lord will not accept it from them: It is these who hasten to do good deeds, and they are the foremost of them (23:61).
