Narrated Abu Hurairah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: A beast will emerge from the earth. With it shall be the ring of Sulaiman and the staff of Musa. It will brighten the face of the believer, and stamp the nose of the disbeliever with the ring, such that when the people gather to eat, it will be said to this one: 'O believer! and to that one: 'O disbeliever!'

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ تَخْرُجُ الدَّابَّةُ مَعَهَا خَاتَمُ سُلَيْمَانَ وَعَصَا مُوسَى فَتَجْلُو وَجْهَ الْمُؤْمِنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتَخْتِمُ أَنْفَ الْكَافِرِ بِالْخَاتَمِ حَتَّى إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْخُوَانِ لَيَجْتَمِعُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ هَاهَا يَا مُؤْمِنُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُقَالُ:‏‏‏‏ هَاهَا يَا كَافِرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيَقُولُ هَذَا:‏‏‏‏ يَا مُؤْمِنُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيَقُولُ هَذَا:‏‏‏‏ يَا كَافِرُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ فِي دَابَّةِ الْأَرْضِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِي الْبَابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ” ( قیامت کے قریب زمین سے ) ایک جانور نکلے گا جس کے پاس سلیمان علیہ السلام کی انگوٹھی ( مہر ) اور موسیٰ علیہ السلام کا عصا ہو گا، وہ اس عصا سے ( لکیر کھینچ کر ) مومن کے چہرے کو روشن و نمایاں کر دے گا، اور انگوٹھی کے ذریعہ کافر کی ناک پر مہر لگا دے گا یہاں تک کہ دستر خوان والے جب دستر خوان پر اکٹھے ہوں گے تو یہ کہے گا: اے مومن اور وہ کہے گا: اے کافر! ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ۲- «دابة الأرض» کے سلسلے میں اس سند کے علاوہ دوسری سندوں سے بھی یہ حدیث ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے مروی ہے جسے وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں، ۳- اس باب میں ابوامامہ اور حذیفہ بن اسید سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
