حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدٌ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ بَهْرَامَ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا نُهِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَصْنَافِ النِّسَاءِ إِلَّا مَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ الْمُهَاجِرَاتِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لا يَحِلُّ لَكَ النِّسَاءُ مِنْ بَعْدُ وَلا أَنْ تَبَدَّلَ بِهِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ حُسْنُهُنَّ إِلا مَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ سورة الأحزاب آية 52 فَأَحَلَّ اللَّهُ فَتَيَاتِكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَامْرَأَةً مُؤْمِنَةً إِنْ وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ سورة الأحزاب آية 50، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَرَّمَ كُلَّ ذَاتِ دِينٍ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلَامِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالإِيمَانِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ وَهُوَ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ سورة المائدة آية 5 وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَأَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِنَّا أَحْلَلْنَا لَكَ أَزْوَاجَكَ اللَّاتِي آتَيْتَ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ مِمَّا أَفَاءَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ خَالِصَةً لَكَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سورة الأحزاب آية 50 وَحَرَّمَ مَا سِوَى ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَصْنَافِ النِّسَاءِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ بَهْرَامَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْت أَحْمَدَ بْنَ الْحَسَنِ يَذْكُرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا بَأْسَ بِحَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ بَهْرَامَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو مومن اور مہاجر عورتوں کے سوا دوسری عورتوں سے شادی کرنے سے روک دیا گیا، ( جیسا کہ ) اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا: ” «لا يحل لك النساء من بعد ولا أن تبدل بهن من أزواج ولو أعجبك حسنهن إلا ما ملكت يمينك» ”آپ کے لیے آج کے بعد کوئی عورت حلال نہیں، اور آپ کے لیے یہ بھی حلال نہیں کہ موجودہ بیویوں میں سے کسی بیوی کو ہٹا کر من بھائی عورت سے شادی کر لیں، سوائے ان لونڈیوں کے جن کے آپ مالک بن جائیں“ ( الاحزاب: ۵۲ ) ، اللہ نے ( نبی کے لیے ) تمہاری جوان مومن مسلمان عورتیں حلال کر دی ہیں۔ «وامرأة مؤمنة إن وهبت نفسها للنبي» ”اور وہ ایمان والی عورت بھی اللہ نے حلال کر دی ہیں جو اپنے آپ کو نبی کو پیش کر دے“، اور اسلام کے سوا ہر دین والی عورت کو حرام کر دیا ہے۔ پھر اللہ نے فرمایا: ” «ومن يكفر بالإيمان فقد حبط عمله وهو في الآخرة من الخاسرين» ”جو ایمان کا منکر ہوا اس کا عمل ضائع گیا، اور وہ آخرت میں گھاٹا اٹھانے والوں میں سے ہو گا“ ( المائدہ: ۵ ) ، اور اللہ نے یہ بھی فرمایا ہے «يا أيها النبي إنا أحللنا لك أزواجك اللاتي آتيت أجورهن وما ملكت يمينك مما أفاء الله عليك» سے لے کر «خالصة لك من دون المؤمن» ”اے نبی! ہم نے تیرے لیے تیری وہ بیویاں حلال کر دی ہیں جن کے مہر تم نے ادا کیے ہیں اور وہ باندیاں تمہارے لیے حلال کر دی ہیں جو اللہ نے تمہیں بطور مال فیٔ ( غنیمت ) میں عطا فرمائی ہیں“ ( الاحزاب: ۵۰ ) ، تک، یہ حکم تمہارے لیے خاص ہے ۱؎ اور دوسرے مومنین کے لیے نہیں ( ان کا نکاح بغیر مہر کے نہیں ہو سکتا ) ان کے علاوہ عورتوں کی اور قسمیں حرام کر دی گئی ہیں۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن ہے۔ ہم اسے عبدالحمید بن بہرام کی روایت ہی سے جانتے ہیں، ۲- احمد بن حنبل کہتے ہیں: عبدالحمید بن بہرام کی شہر بن حوشب سے روایات کے لینے میں کوئی حرج نہیں ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: All types of women were prohibited for the Messenger of ALlah (ﷺ) except for the believing women among those who emigrated. (Allah) said: 'It is not lawful for you (to marry other) women after this, nor to change them for other wives even though their beauty attracts you, except those whom your right hand possesses (33:52). - And Allah made your believing girls lawful 'And a believing woman if she offers herself to the Prophet (33:50)' and He made every woman of a religion other than Islam unlawful. Then He said: And whoever disbelieves in faith then fruitless is his work; and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers (5:5). And he said: Verily We have made lawful to you your wives, to whom you have paid their due, and those whom your right hands possess - whom Allah has given you up to His saying: A privilege to only you, not for the (rest of) the believers (33:50). He made the other types of women unlawful.
