حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَزَلَتْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكَ اللَّهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ سورة الفتح آية 2 مَرْجِعَهُ مِنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَقَدْ نَزَلَتْ عَلَيَّ آيَةٌ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَرَأَهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ هَنِيئًا مَرِيئًا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَدْ بَيَّنَ اللَّهُ لَكَ مَاذَا يُفْعَلُ بِكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَمَاذَا يُفْعَلُ بِنَا ؟ فَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ:‏‏‏‏ لِيُدْخِلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ حَتَّى بَلَغَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا سورة الفتح آية 5 ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِيهِ عَنْ مُجَمِّعِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ.

Urdu Translation

انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر حدیبیہ سے واپسی کے وقت «ليغفر لك الله ما تقدم من ذنبك وما تأخر» ” ( اللہ نے جہاد اس لیے فرض کیا ہے ) تاکہ اللہ تمہارے اگلے پچھلے گناہ بخش دے“ ( الفتح: ۲ ) ، نازل ہوئی، تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مجھ پر ایک ایسی آیت نازل ہوئی ہے جو مجھے زمین کی ساری چیزوں سے زیادہ محبوب ہے“، پھر آپ نے وہ آیت سب کو پڑھ کر سنائی، لوگوں نے ( سن کر ) «هنيأ مريئًا» ( آپ کے لیے خوش گوار اور مبارک ہو ) کہا، اے اللہ کے نبی! اللہ نے آپ کو بتا دیا کہ آپ کے ساتھ کیا کیا جائے گا مگر ہمارے ساتھ کیا کیا جائے گا؟ اس پر آیت «ليدخل المؤمنين والمؤمنات جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار» سے لے کر سے «فوزا عظيما» ”تاکہ مومن مردوں اور مومن عورتوں کو ایسے باغوں میں داخل کرے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی، جہاں وہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے اور ان سے ان کے گناہ دور کر دے اور اللہ کے نزدیک یہ بہت بڑی کامیابی ہے“ ( الفتح: ۵ ) ، تک نازل ہوئی۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں مجمع بن جاریہ سے بھی روایت ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas [May Allah be pleased with him]: While the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was returning from Al-Hudaibiyyah it was revealed to him, 'That Allah may forgive you your sins of the past and the future (48:2).' So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'An Ayah has been revealed to me which is dearer to me than whatever is upon the earth.' Then the Prophet (ﷺ) recited it for them and they said: 'Congratulations O Messenger of Allah! Allah has explained what He will do with you, but what will He do with us?' So (the following) was revealed: 'That He may admit the believing men and the believing women into Gardens under which rivers flow' up to (His Saying) 'a supreme success (48:5).'
