`Abdullah bin Busr (ra) narrated that: A man said: “O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), indeed, the legislated acts of Islam have become too much for me, so inform me of a thing that I should stick to.” He (ﷺ) said: “Let not your tongue cease to be moist with the remembrance of Allah.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ حُبَابٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَجُلًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنَّ شَرَائِعَ الْإِسْلَامِ قَدْ كَثُرَتْ عَلَيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَخْبِرْنِي بِشَيْءٍ أَتَشَبَّثُ بِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يَزَالُ لِسَانُكَ رَطْبًا مِنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.

عبداللہ بن بسر سے روایت ہے کہ   ایک آدمی نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! اسلام کے احکام و قوانین تو میرے لیے بہت ہیں، کچھ تھوڑی سی چیزیں مجھے بتا دیجئیے جن پر میں ( مضبوطی ) سے جما رہوں، آپ نے فرمایا: ”تمہاری زبان ہر وقت اللہ کی یاد اور ذکر سے تر رہے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث اس سند سے حسن غریب ہے۔
