حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُؤَمِّلُ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَلِظُّوا بِيَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَيْسَ بِمَحْفُوظٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنَّمَا يُرْوَى هَذَا عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ وَمُؤَمَّلٌ غَلِطَ فِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ عَنْ حَمَادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَلَا يُتَابَعُ فِيهِ.

Urdu Translation

انس رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: «يا ذا الجلال والإكرام» کو لازم پکڑو ( یعنی: اپنی دعاؤں میں برابر پڑھتے رہا کرو“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، محفوظ نہیں ہے، ۲- یہ حدیث حماد بن سلمہ نے حمید سے، انہوں نے حسن بصری کے واسطہ سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ( مرسلاً ) روایت کی ہے، اور یہ زیادہ صحیح ہے۔ اور مومل سے اس میں غلطی ہوئی ہے، چنانچہ انہوں نے «عن حميد عن أنس» دیا، جبکہ اس میں ان کا کوئی متابع نہیں ہے۔

English Translation

Anas narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Be constant with: ‘O Possessor of Majesty and Honor (Yā Dhal-Jalāli wal-Ikrām).’”
