Narrated Anas bin Malik: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) at the time when the 'Asr prayer had drawn near, and the people were searching for water for Wudu, bu they did not find any. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was brought some water for Wudu, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) put his hand in the container and ordered that the people make Wudu from it. He said: So I saw water springing out from under his fingers. The people performed Wudu until the last of them made Wudu.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاق بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ وَحَانَتْ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ،‏‏‏‏ وَالْتَمَسَ النَّاسُ الْوَضُوءَ فَلَمْ يَجِدُوهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِوَضُوءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ فِي ذَلِكَ الْإِنَاءِ وَأَمَرَ النَّاسَ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّئُوا مِنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَرَأَيْتُ الْمَاءَ يَنْبُعُ مِنْ تَحْتِ أَصَابِعِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَتَوَضَّأَ النَّاسُ حَتَّى تَوَضَّئُوا مِنْ عِنْدِ آخِرِهِمْ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَزِيَادِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الصُّدَائِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

انس بن مالک رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا، عصر کا وقت ہو گیا تھا، لوگوں نے وضو کا پانی ڈھونڈھا، لیکن وہ نہیں پا سکے، اتنے میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس کچھ وضو کا پانی لایا گیا، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس برتن میں اپنا ہاتھ رکھا اور لوگوں کو حکم دیا کہ وہ اس سے وضو کریں، وہ کہتے ہیں: تو میں نے آپ کی انگلیوں کے نیچے سے پانی ابلتے دیکھا، پھر لوگوں نے وضو کیا یہاں تک کہ ان میں کا جو سب سے آخری شخص تھا اس نے بھی وضو کر لیا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- انس کی یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عمران بن حصین، ابن مسعود، جابر اور زیاد بن حارث صدائی رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
