حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْقُدُّوسِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ السَّلْمَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَطَّلِعُ عَلَيْكُمْ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَاطَّلَعَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَطَّلِعُ عَلَيْكُمْ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَاطَّلَعَ عُمَرُ . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَابِرٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا غَرِيبٌ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تمہارے پاس جنت والوں میں سے ایک شخص آ رہا ہے“ تو ابوبکر رضی الله عنہ آئے، پھر آپ نے فرمایا: ”تمہارے پاس جنت والوں میں سے ایک شخص آ رہا ہے“، تو عمر رضی الله عنہ آئے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابن مسعود رضی الله عنہ کی یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوموسیٰ اشعری اور جابر رضی الله عنہم سے احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: A man among the inhabitants of Paradise will appear before you. So Abu Bakr appeared. Then he said: A man among the inhabitants of Paradise will appear before you. So 'Umar appeared.
