حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ جَعْفَرًا يَطِيرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مَعَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا غَرِيبٌ حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ ضَعَّفَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ وَغَيْرُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ هُوَ وَالِدُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمَدِينِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میں نے جعفر کو جنت میں فرشتوں کے ساتھ اڑتے دیکھا ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کی یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ہم اسے صرف عبداللہ بن جعفر کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں، اور یحییٰ بن معین وغیرہ نے ان کی تضعیف کی ہے، اور عبداللہ بن جعفر: علی بن مدینی کے والد ہیں، ۲- اس باب میں ابن عباس رضی الله عنہما سے بھی روایت آئی ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Hurairah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I saw Ja'far flying in Paradise with the angels.
