حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَسٌ خَادِمُكَ ادْعُ اللَّهَ لَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ،‏‏‏‏ وَوَلَدَهُ،‏‏‏‏ وَبَارِكْ لَهُ فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

ام سلیم رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   انہوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! انس آپ کا خادم ہے، آپ اللہ سے اس کے لیے دعا فرما دیجئیے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: «اللهم أكثر ماله وولده وبارك له فيما أعطيته» ”اے اللہ! اس کے مال اور اولاد میں زیادتی عطا فرما اور جو تو نے اسے عطا کیا ہے اس میں برکت دے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas bin Malik: from Umm Sulaim, that she said: O Messenger of Allah, Anas bin Malik is your servant, supplicate to Allah for him. He said: O Allah, increase his wealth and his children, and bless him in what You have given him.
