حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ الْقَطَوَانِيُّ، وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ الْقَطَّانُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَظَرَ قِبَلَ الْيَمَنِ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ أَقْبِلْ بِقُلُوبِهِمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِي صَاعِنَا وَمُدِّنَا . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ عِمْرَانَ الْقَطَّانِ.

Urdu Translation

زید بن ثابت رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یمن کی طرف دیکھا اور فرمایا: ”اے اللہ! ان کے دلوں کو ہماری طرف پھیر دے اور ہمارے صاع اور مد میں ہمیں برکت دے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح غریب ہے، ہم اسے یعنی زید بن ثابت کی اس حدیث کو صرف عمران قطان کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Zaid bin Thabit [may Allah be pleased with him]: that the Prophet (ﷺ) looked towards Yemen and said: O Allah direct their hearts and bless us in our Sa' and our Mudd.
