حَدَّثَنَا وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ الْبَصْرِيُّ، قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، وَعِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ جَاءَ الْفُقَرَاءُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الْأَغْنِيَاءَ يُصَلُّونَ كَمَا نُصَلِّي وَيَصُومُونَ كَمَا نَصُومُ وَلَهُمْ أَمْوَالٌ يُعْتِقُونَ وَيَتَصَدَّقُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَإِذَا صَلَّيْتُمْ فَقُولُوا:‏‏‏‏ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ مَرَّةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ مَرَّةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ مَرَّةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّكُمْ تُدْرِكُونَ بِهِ مَنْ سَبَقَكُمْ وَلَا يَسْبِقُكُمْ مَنْ بَعْدَكُمْ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَنَسٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍوَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَزَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ،‏‏‏‏ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبِي ذَرٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِي الْبَاب أَيْضًا عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَالْمُغِيرَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ خَصْلَتَانِ لَا يُحْصِيهِمَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ إِلَّا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ:‏‏‏‏ يُسَبِّحُ اللَّهَ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ عَشْرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيَحْمَدُهُ عَشْرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُكَبِّرُهُ عَشْرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُسَبِّحُ اللَّهَ عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيَحْمَدُهُ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُكَبِّرُهُ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم کے پاس کچھ فقیر و محتاج لوگ آئے اور کہا: اللہ کے رسول! مالدار نماز پڑھتے ہیں جیسے ہم پڑھتے ہیں وہ روزہ رکھتے ہیں جیسے ہم رکھتے ہیں۔ ان کے پاس مال بھی ہے، اس سے وہ غلام آزاد کرتے اور صدقہ دیتے ہیں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”جب تم نماز پڑھ چکو تو تینتیس مرتبہ ”سبحان اللہ“، تینتیس مرتبہ ”الحمد لله“ اور تینتیس مرتبہ ”الله أكبر“ اور دس مرتبہ ”لا إله إلا الله“ کہہ لیا کرو، تو تم ان لوگوں کو پا لو گے جو تم پر سبقت لے گئے ہیں، اور جو تم سے پیچھے ہیں وہ تم پر سبقت نہ لے جا سکیں گے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابن عباس رضی الله عنہما کی حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ۲- اس باب میں کعب بن عجرہ، انس، عبداللہ بن عمرو، زید بن ثابت، ابو الدرداء، ابن عمر اور ابوذر رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، نیز اس باب میں ابوہریرہ اور مغیرہ رضی الله عنہما سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم سے یہ بھی مروی ہے کہ آپ نے فرمایا: ”دو عادتیں ہیں جنہیں جو بھی مسلمان آدمی بجا لائے گا جنت میں داخل ہو گا۔ ایک یہ کہ وہ ہر نماز کے بعد دس بار ”سبحان الله“، دس بار ”الحمد لله“، دس بار ”الله أكبر“ کہے، دوسرے یہ کہ وہ اپنے سوتے وقت تینتیس مرتبہ ”سبحان الله“، تینتیس مرتبہ ”الحمد لله“ اور چونتیس مرتبہ ”الله أكبر“ کہے۔

English Translation

Ibn Abbas narrated: Some of the poor people came to Allah's Messenger (S) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah (S)! The rich pray as we pray, they fast as we fast, but they have wealth with which they free slaves and which they give in charity.' He said: 'When you perform Salat, then say: 'Subhan Allah' thirty-three times, and: 'Al-Hamdulillah' thirty-three times, and: 'Allahu Akbar' thirty-four times, and 'La ilaha illallah' ten times. With that you will have surprassed them, and none would surpass you afterwards.'
