حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ يَعْنِي مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الْعَلَاءِ الْهَمْدَانِيَّ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي خَثْعَمٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ صَلَّى بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ سِتَّ رَكَعَاتٍ لَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ بِسُوءٍ عُدِلْنَ لَهُ بِعِبَادَةِ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ صَلَّى بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ عِشْرِينَ رَكْعَةً بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْحُبَابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي خَثْعَمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وسَمِعْت مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي خَثْعَمٍ مُنْكَرُ الْحَدِيثِ وَضَعَّفَهُ جِدًّا.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس نے مغرب کے بعد چھ رکعتیں پڑھیں اور ان کے درمیان کوئی بری بات نہ کی، تو ان کا ثواب بارہ سال کی عبادت کے برابر ہو گا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- عائشہ رضی الله عنہا سے مروی ہے وہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتی ہیں کہ آپ نے فرمایا: ”جس نے مغرب کے بعد بیس رکعتیں پڑھیں اللہ اس کے لیے جنت میں ایک گھر بنائے گا“، ۲- ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث غریب ہے، ہم اسے صرف «زيد بن حباب عن عمر بن أبي خثعم» کی سند سے جانتے ہیں، ۳- میں نے محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کو کہتے سنا کہ عمر بن عبداللہ بن ابی خثعم منکرالحدیث ہیں۔ اور انہوں نے انہیں سخت ضعیف کہا ہے۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah narrated that: Allah's Messenger (S) said: Whoever prays six Rak'ah after Al-Maghrib, and he does not speak about anything between them, then they will be counted for him as twelve years of worship.
