حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَرَضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى الذَّكَرِ وَالْأُنْثَى وَالْحُرِّ وَالْمَمْلُوكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَعَدَلَ النَّاسُ إِلَى نِصْفِ صَاعٍ مِنْ بُرٍّ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَدِّ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي ذُبَاب، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ أَبِي صُعَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے صدقہ فطر مرد، عورت، آزاد اور غلام پر، ایک صاع کھجور، یا ایک صاع جو فرض کیا، راوی کہتے ہیں: پھر لوگوں نے آدھا صاع گیہوں کو اس کے برابر کر لیا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوسعید، ابن عباس، حارث بن عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی ذباب کے دادا ( یعنی ابوذباب ) ، ثعلبہ بن ابی صعیر اور عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Ibn Umar narrated: The Messenger of Allah made Sadaqatul-Fitr an obligation upon the male and female, the free and the bondsmen, as a Sa of dried dates or a Sa of barley. He said: So the people equated that to half a Sa of wheat.
