حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَوَجَدَ رِيحًا بَيْنَ أَلْيَتَيْهِ فَلَا يَخْرُجْ حَتَّى يَسْمَعَ صَوْتًا أَوْ يَجِدَ رِيحًا . قال:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ طَلْقٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الْعُلَمَاءِ أَنْ لَا يَجِبَ عَلَيْهِ الْوُضُوءُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِلَّا مِنْ حَدَثٍ يَسْمَعُ صَوْتًا أَوْ يَجِدُ رِيحًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا شَكَّ فِي الْحَدَثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَجِبُ عَلَيْهِ الْوُضُوءُ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِنَ اسْتِيقَانًا يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يَحْلِفَ عَلَيْهِ،‏‏‏‏ وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ قُبُلِ الْمَرْأَةِ الرِّيحُ وَجَبَ عَلَيْهَا الْوُضُوءُ،‏‏‏‏ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْحَاق.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کوئی مسجد میں ہو اور وہ اپنی سرین سے ہوا نکلنے کا شبہ پائے تو وہ ( مسجد سے ) نہ نکلے جب تک کہ وہ ہوا کے خارج ہونے کی آواز نہ سن لے، یا بغیر آواز کے پیٹ سے خارج ہونے والی ہوا کی بو نہ محسوس کر لے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عبداللہ بن زید، علی بن طلق، عائشہ، ابن عباس، ابن مسعود اور ابو سعید خدری سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- اور یہی علماء کا قول ہے کہ وضو «حدث» ہی سے واجب ہوتا ہے کہ وہ «حدث» کی آواز سن لے یا بو محسوس کر لے، عبداللہ بن مبارک کہتے ہیں کہ جب «حدث» میں شک ہو تو وضو واجب نہیں ہوتا، جب تک کہ ایسا یقین نہ ہو جائے کہ اس پر قسم کھا سکے، نیز کہتے ہیں کہ جب عورت کی اگلی شرمگاہ سے ہوا خارج ہو تو اس پر وضو واجب ہو جاتا ہے، یہی شافعی اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کا بھی قول ہے۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah narrated that : Allah's Messenger said: When one of you is in the Masjid, and he senses wind between his buttocks then he should not exit until he hears a sound or smells an odor.
