حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَعُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ كَانَ يَعْتَكِفُ الْعَشْرَ الْأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي لَيْلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ عُمَرَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَائِشَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ اور عائشہ رضی الله عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم رمضان کے آخری عشرے میں اعتکاف ۱؎ کرتے تھے، یہاں تک کہ اللہ نے آپ کو وفات دی۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابوہریرہ اور عائشہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابی بن کعب، ابولیلیٰ، ابوسعید، انس اور ابن عمر رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah and Aishah narrated: The Prophet would perform I'tikaf during the last ten (days) of Ramadan until Allah took him.
