Baab Taharat Ke Masail

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَليٍّ،‏‏‏‏ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَلَّمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَبُولُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنَّمَا يُكْرَهُ هَذَا عِنْدَنَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِذَا كَانَ عَلَى الْغَائِطِ وَالْبَوْلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ فَسَّرَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ ذَلِكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَذَا أَحَسَنُ شَيْءٍ رُوِيَ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ الْمُهَاجِرِ بْنِ قُنْفُذٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ الْفَغْوَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْبَرَاءِ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   ایک شخص نے نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم کو سلام کیا، آپ پیشاب کر رہے تھے، تو آپ نے اس کے سلام کا جواب نہیں دیا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اور ہمارے نزدیک سلام کا جواب دینا اس صورت میں مکروہ قرار دیا جاتا ہے جب آدمی پاخانہ یا پیشاب کر رہا ہو، بعض اہل علم نے اس کی یہی تفسیر کی ہے ۱؎، ۲- یہ سب سے عمدہ حدیث ہے جو اس باب میں روایت کی گئی ہے، ۳- اور اس باب میں مہاجر بن قنفذ، عبداللہ بن حنظلہ، علقمہ بن شفواء، جابر اور براء بن عازب رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Ibn Umar narrated: A man greeted the Prophet (with Salam), and he was urinating, so he did not respond to him.
