حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ عَلَى ظَاهِرِهِمَا . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ الْمُغِيرَةِ حَسَنٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا يَذْكُرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَلَى ظَاهِرِهِمَا غَيْرَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبِهِ يَقُولُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ:‏‏‏‏ وَكَانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ يُشِيرُ بِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ.

Urdu Translation

مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم کو موزوں کے اوپری حصے پر مسح کرتے دیکھا ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- مغیرہ رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن ہے، ۲- عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی الزناد کے علاوہ میں کسی اور کو نہیں جانتا جس نے بسند «عروہ عن مغیرہ» دونوں موزوں کے ”اوپری حصہ“ پر مسح کا ذکر کرتا ہو ۲؎ اور یہی کئی اہل علم کا قول ہے اور یہی سفیان ثوری اور احمد بھی کہتے ہیں۔

English Translation

AI-Mughirah bin Shu'bah narrated: I saw the Prophet wiping over the Khuff: on the tops of them.
